Kreta Ayer, currently known as 'Chinatown', was a significant historical precinct in Central Singapore which is currently put under the  spotlight to address its gentrified state.

The idea of this project is to reinstate Chinatown back into Kreta Ayer in the process of Urban Conservation and Regeneration.

With this we aspire to unravel the area's entanglement and revive the shophouses and modern development by weaving 'life' into the precinct and making it into a thriving neighborhood.

Today, the archaeology of a place is often found at the museum but our aim is to make them evident in the streets.
